The L.A. FCBarcelona Soccer Foundation was founded in 1999 in an effort to help local underprivileged youths achieve personal growth through the discipline of a structured Soccer Organization, PB-L.A..
With this in mind, PB-L.A. has endeavored to develop a soccer organizational philosophy and methodology that serves two purposes: To support the soccer methodology and player development strategies used by FCBarcelona, and to support a program that allows youth soccer clubs the ability to collaborate with us.
Through all of this, we have developed the “Mes Que Una Penya” (More than a Fan Club) platform that defines our social, business, and technical structures including coaching and player development. By being, "More than a Fan Club", our focus is in developing our Youth Soccer Academy's so that our youths can experience educational and cultural opportunities by traveling and playing in foreign countries such as: Spain, Brazil, Mexico, etc.
Ultimately, our goal is to see all of our youths graduate High School and pursue an education at the College or University levels.
