It seems as though every season we have out of control behavior occurring at league games, practices & tournaments that the Club needs to control early on. Coast Soccer let it be known that they will not tolerate disruptive behavior by anyone nor abuse towards referees and have issued a warning that anyone not following the rules will be carded and removed from the premises.
Since we as a Club have agreed to abide by their rules and regulations when we registered with CSL, our Club Directors have agreed to take further action and impose our own Club fines, penalties, or expulsions for all coaches, administrators, players, parents, relatives and friends who misbehave and do not uphold our Club’s policies and reputation to the highest extent. We take this matter very serious!
Club Policies & Penalties
1. All salaried head and assistant coaches who receive a red card will forfeit 1 month’s salary to the Club’sgeneral account or perform volunteer Club service per the discretion of the Directors. If it happens a second time they forfeit the right to coach in our Club and will be removed as a team administrator. All volunteer coaches will pay a fine of $200 to the Club. All fines must be received within one week of the infraction or risk ever coaching again in this Club. Any coach that is found to be disruptive in any way to his / her team, or to the Club, also forfeits the right to be registered to that team and will be removed and replaced immediately.
2. Any team administrator who receives a red card will also be fined $200. If it happens a second time they will be removed as an administrator. Any administrator that is found to be disruptive in any way to his / her team, or to the Club, also forfeits the right to be registered to that team and will be removed and replaced immediately.
3. Any parent, relative, friend, etc. who cannot control themselves and abuses the refs or anyone else for that matter, forfeits the right to be anywhere near or on the sideline for the next two games. If they show up their daughter / son / etc. will not be allowed to play until they leave. If it happens a second time they will not be allowed to attend any games the rest of the season. If they cannot abide by this rule their daughter / son / etc. will not be allowed to play until they have been removed from the premises.
4. Any coach, administrator, parent, relative, friend, etc. that consumes alcoholic beverages, drugs or cigarettes at or near a practice or game field, or around the team, forfeits the right to be anywhere near or on the sideline per the same terms as listed above in Rule #3.
5. Any player who receives a red card forfeits the right to start the first game back once he or she is eligible to play again, NO MATTER WHAT!
6. Any team that cannot abide by the rules of the League and the Club will not register with us next season.
