ANNOUNCEMENT

Barca Signs Six Foreign Players:

The six foreign players who come to the club belong to five different nationalities: 10 year old Japanese striker Takefusa Kubo, that will not live in La Masia, but in private home with his mother. Kubo was on trial in mid-April in the Ciutat Esportiva and convinced the technicians. 11 year old midfielder, Ben Lederman, the first American to ever join the club by way of Barca's Penya in California and their Soccer Academy, FC California.

HEADING TO BARCELONA!!

Our BU10 Academy team will be heading to Barcelona, Spain from April 2 - 11, 2011.

The team will play several friendlies against various Academy's in Barcelona, including the "Clasico" against Barca's "Benjamin A" Academy team. The trip will also include of a variety events including:

Tours of Barca's facilities including the world famous "Nou Camp" stadium.
Barca's Museum
Barca's Academy Facility (Ciutat Esportiva)
View 1st Team Training Session
Attend Barca's Champions League Game
Attend Barca vs. Almeria Game
Barcelona City Tours
etc., etc, etc...........

Congratulations to the newest member of the Club. This was their first tournament together and what a result. Throughout the weekend they put on a wonderful dispay of soccer that eventually ended up crowning them as champions.
