NHB CUP - CHAMPIONS!!
NHB CHAMPIONS - B11
Congratulations goes out to our BU11, BU10, and BU9 teams for their exceptional play at the most recent NHB Cup Tournament. All three performed exceptionally, as both the U11's and U10's were crowned Champions.
BU11
Our BU11 team, under the guidance of coach Jari & coach Juan, were spectacular throughout the tournament. In the six games that they played, they scored a total of 15 goals and only gave up 3.
The final match up was against the Cosmos Academy and although the final score was 1-0 in favor of Barcelona, the boys were in complete control of the game from start to finish.
Persistence pays off as this marks the fourth consecutive finals that our BU11's competed in this off-season, and their first championship to celebrate. What a great way to prepare for the start of the league season next weekend.
BU10
Our BU10 team, under the guidance of coach Don, also displayed unbelievable skill and drive as they too dominated the field over the three day tournament. They were so dominant that their last three games (quarters thru to the final), they scored a total of 14 goals, and gave up zero!! The final was over in the first 10 minutes of the game as they rolled over Celtic FC, 5-0.
A trully amazing feat seeeing as they only fielded a total of 8 players for the whole tournament.
BU9
Our BU9 team also had a successful tournament and although they did not win it all, they reached the semi-finals where they eventually lost to an exceptional team, ISC.
Congrats to all of you for a wonderful tournament and good luck in league!!
FCB-L.A. ACADEMY OFFICIALLY OPENS!!
In the spirit of truly representing FC Barcelona's methodology and player development strategies, our Academy Program has begun the process of incorporating one ideology and one system of development, that is based solely on Barca's methodologies.

FCBESCOLA SIGNS TWO AMERICANS
Our relationship with FCB has now reached an all time high with the announcement that two kids from the Collaboration Program have been accepted into Barca's official youth development program, FCBEscola.
On Aug. 25th, Raven & Caiman Littles, along with their parents, will relocate to Barcelona. And on Sept 9, they will officially begin their participation as members of Barca's, FCBEscola, program.
This exciting news, not only for the Littles' family but for all of us involved in the Partnership, is extremely gratifying. Eleven years ago we could only dream of such a possibility, but now through hard work and determination, we have succeeded.
On behalf of the Collaboration Program, we Congratulate the Littles' for their vision & determination, and wish them nothing but success.
NO. CALIFORNIA REGIONAL DIRECTOR
It gives us great pleasure to announce that Luis Arias has been selected as Regional Director of our Northern California Region.
With the expansion into the Bay Area, it allows our organization the ability to interact with communities that were previously out of reach. With the leadership role of Mr. Arias, we will begin to develop players and coaches alike, under FC Barcelona’s methodology and system of player development.
